Never had a better experience from Budget Car Rental had a bad situation occurred while I was in Florida and they took care of it 100%
We were in town for a friends wedding, came from Chicago where we rented a car. We noticed the passenger side tire had a bulge so we brought it in and the manager was able to help us exchange the car. Made it back to Chicago safe. Thank you
I picked up the car I reserved on Thursday June 1st. When I got into the car there was an over powering smell of air freshner, so I rolled down the windows thinking nothing of it. I got home rolled the windows up and went inside. Later that evening when I went out to pack the car I realized why there was so much air freshner used....the car reaked of urine. When I called the store they were closed, so I called customer service. They told me that they would switch out the car, but the only place open was the airport, which was 2 hours in the opposite direction of my route. So having no choice we kept the car for the whole trip. Needless to say the entire weekend was miserable. Every time we got into the car all you could smell was urine, even frebreeze didnt help. When we returned the car the agent said he thought it was bad body oder. For the whole experience and misery he offered 25 dollars off my bill. Poor customer service, instead of offering another car in exchange he just tried to cover it up and then throw insult in by saying he would take $25 off. I wonder how he would have felt after spending a weekend in that car? After that I called customer service and their best thought of how to take care of their customers they took a day off the total. Needless to say I will never again rent from budget car rentals, regardless of the prices.
Do not use this company. Promised a car at 7:30 am now 10:30 am and still no car. Our whole itinerary is shot. They do not seem to care.
